Thank you to everyone who joined us for the opening reception of the 2026 Summer Spotlight at Bennett Galleries. It was a wonderful evening of taking in the new works, catching up with the Nashville arts community, and grazing on a beautiful spread of snacks provided by our neighbors at The Charcuterist. We always love seeing the gallery full of energy and familiar faces.
This exhibition is a special one for us because it features the exceptional work of two talented Tennessean oil painters, Sheryl Hibbs and Frank Baggett. Their works bring a wonderful contrast to the gallery walls. Guests spent the evening taking in Sheryl's bold use of color and her striking impressionistic and abstract pieces. Those paintings hung beautifully alongside Frank's landscapes, which capture Tennessee's natural scenery through his incredible impasto techniques. It was a treat to have both artists in the room to celebrate with us, giving everyone a chance to meet the creators while surrounded by their latest work.
