Born in 1953 in Poland, where she still resides and works today.
Graduated from the Faculty of Painting, Graphics and Sculpture Faculty of the State School of Fine Arts (presently the Academy of Fine Arts) in Gdansk, Poland in 1980 by Prof. Alfred Wisniewski.
Maria Wojtiuk’s sculptures created in different mix media: clay, marble, wood, leather, bronze and other metals are in private collections and museums in Poland (Museum of Ceramics Art in Boleslawiec) and abroad.
She has received numerous awards at Polish and international competitions and sculpture shows. Her works have been exhibited throughout Europe and are seen for the first time in the USA here at the Bennett Galleries in Knoxville, TN.
