| Alice Williams
has been creating charming interiors, landscapes and fine portraits for
the past thirty five years. Influenced greatly by her mother's love for
the arts, Alice's paintings have a striking immediacy as she brings to
the viewer her own worlds of sun washed landscapes, cottage garden scenes
and light filled interiors, many of which are painted on location right
in her own home and surrounding garden. "I've always been attracted
and inspired by artists who painted what's around them, and that's what
I find myself doing." A prolific painter, her brushstrokes denote the bravado of a master and her experience shows. Her remarkable versatility of subject matter, her use of dynamic color and the beautiful effect of chiaroscuro present in her paintings are just a few of the many qualities that make her easily one of the most recognizable and sought after painters in America today. |
