Artist Statement

Robin Surber's narrative work reflects a life lived insightfully. Through a straightforward approach as well as the use of symbolism, she interprets the intimate and joyful side of the human experience. Her works are quite introspective as they narrate not only what she sees but what she feels as well. Her paintings have a depth that is achieved by using a mix of mediums including oil, acrylic, metal, pencil, and ink.

Born in Louisville, KY, Robin currently resides in Knoxville, TN.
